Renew Your Skin. Refresh Your Mindset.
My story—from IKEA room dividers to building Rejuvenate-You Scottsdale on integrity, intention, and empowerment
How Rejuvenate-You Scottsdale Began
I became a licensed esthetician and found out I was pregnant at the same time. I've always been someone who loves being prepared—learning everything I can before I fully dive in. So I pushed esthetics to the side and enrolled in early childhood development classes.
With what I learned about children's self-esteem development, I thought I wanted to be a stay-at-home mom. And I took that role seriously. I looked for books for my soon-to-be husband to read as our "training manual." I knew that consistency in parenting prevents meltdowns and confusion.
Then a salon owner remembered I'd gone to esthetics school. She'd been talking about me to her clients and asked if I could come in to do facials. We set up a treatment table in the middle of the salon with IKEA room dividers from floor to ceiling. That's where Rejuvenate-You was born.
The Shift: From Relaxing to Results
Working in that open salon space, I quickly learned something important: I preferred doing result-oriented treatments over "relaxing" facials. The environment wasn't exactly spa-calm—you could hear the salon owner doing hair. It wasn't the whisper-quiet experience people expect.
So I pivoted. I focused on treatments where the background activity actually helped—where conversation took clients' minds off the tingling sensation of treatments. I specialized in results-driven services and started seeing faster improvements in my clients' skin.
That's when I solidified the name Rejuvenate-You. Because that's how I want every single client to feel when they leave—not just smoother or clearer, but renewed. Physically and mentally.
The Question That Changed Everything
During my time at home with my kids, my mischievous toddler—my mini-me—asked me:
"What do you do?"
She explained that she knew what her grandmas did for work, what her dad did, what her grandpas did—but not me. I could tell she was judging my validation. This little independent thinker learns by watching.
I realized: my children were only going to learn from watching me—not from me telling them my expectations. And I missed the rejuvenation I personally felt helping clients feel comfortable in their own skin.
When my kids were in full-day school, I knew it was time to return—and do it right.
Why I Left Corporate—Twice
The Waxing Chain Experience
I spent six years at a major waxing chain. I loved the team energy, friendly competition, and hitting goals. But then I experienced a huge family loss—and was shocked when the company gave me no grace.
Worse, I was being punished for performance. They gave me higher goals than anyone else because they knew I could hit them. When I tried to transfer closer to home, they blocked it—afraid clients would follow me.
The Medical Spa Reality
I moved to a medical spa where I learned laser and advanced treatments. But there were ethical issues. I was asked to sign off on Saturday files I didn't witness. The owners saw patients as transactions.
I see clients as people I can help transform to feel comfortable in their own skin. That difference matters.
Building What I Believe In
I walked away from both jobs with a clear vision: create an environment that gives real love and acceptance. Knowing that God will provide, and the money will come without manufacturing insecurities or pressuring clients.
I found my Scottsdale location near Shea and Scottsdale Road—a space where I could build something principled. Something that could eventually scale, train other women, and maybe even become a sellable business model.
Integrity before income. That's the foundation.
The Mental Exfoliation Philosophy
Here's what I teach my clients: Rejuvenation isn't just physical. It's mental.
When I explain exfoliation during your service, I connect it to something deeper. First step: identify negative thoughts. Ask if they're serving you. If not, release them—just like dead skin.
Then replace them with gratitude and positivity, like adding nourishing products your skin needs. It's the best way to end a day—with a positive, rejuvenating mindset.
What I Stand For
Integrity Before Income
I left two profitable jobs because of ethics conflicts. I'll never pressure you or make you feel insecure to sell services.
Renewal
Not just smooth skin—renewed confidence. My goal is for you to leave feeling happy, free, and ready to conquer your world.
Precision + Purpose
I love goals and metrics—but only ethical ones. Detail matters. No stray hairs. No rushed work. Just thorough results.
Life Outside the Scottsdale Studio
When I'm not at my Scottsdale location, you'll find me looking for adventures with my two kids. I feel like parenting is just like life coaching.
My husband has been an amazing partner while raising our preteen and teenager. I love hiking Scottsdale's beautiful trails, dancing, and lifting heavy things for fun! I try to catch sunrise and sunset hikes a few times a week.

What I'm Building
I'm building something bigger than a waxing studio. I'm creating a system—a method that can be taught, replicated, and scaled. The Rejuvenate Method™ isn't just about hair removal; it's about renewal.
My vision includes multiple locations, training other women to operate with these standards, and eventually creating a business model that could be sold. But more importantly, I'm building something my kids can watch me build—ethically, intentionally, and with integrity.
That's the legacy. Not just a business. A model for how to build something principled.
