Renew Your Skin. Refresh Your Mindset.
My story—from IKEA room dividers to building Rejuvenate-You Phoenix on integrity, intention, and empowerment
How Rejuvenate-You Phoenix Was Born
I became a licensed esthetician and found out I was pregnant at the same time. I've always been someone who loves being prepared—learning everything I can before I fully dive in. So I pushed esthetics to the side and enrolled in early childhood development classes at the local community college.
Then a salon owner remembered I'd gone to esthetics school. She'd been talking about me to her clients and asked if I could come in to do facials. We set up a treatment table in the middle of the salon, creating privacy with IKEA room dividers that went from floor to ceiling.
I started on Sundays and Mondays while the owner was off. But eventually, my client list grew so much that my soon-to-be husband said I needed to make it official. LLC, taxes, the works. I came up with Rejuvenate-You because that's how I want every client to feel when they leave—not just smoother, but renewed.
The Question That Changed Everything
During my time as a stay-at-home mom, my mischievous toddler—my mini-me—asked me a question that stopped me in my tracks:
"What do you do?"
She explained that she knew what her grandmas did for work, what her dad did, what her grandpas did—but not me. I told her I take care of her and her brother. She asked if I got paid for that. I told her no—that I'd given up my job to be there for her.
She definitely didn't seem impressed. And I realized: she wouldn't fully trust my opinions unless she saw me living growing life experiences myself.
I also realized something else: I really missed the rejuvenation I personally felt when helping clients feel comfortable in their own skin.
Why I Left Corporate Waxing—Twice
The Waxing Chain
I worked for one franchise for about four years—never calling out, picking up extra shifts. Then I experienced a huge loss in my family. I was shocked when the company gave me no grace during my time of need.
Worse, I realized I was being punished for being good at my job. They gave me higher goals than anyone else because they knew I was capable of hitting them. When I moved and tried to transfer to a location closer to my new home, they blocked it—afraid too many clients would follow me.
The Medical Spa
After the first franchise sold to new owners, I moved to a family-owned medical spa. I enjoyed learning new things—they even helped me become certified in laser.
But there were ethical issues. I started losing sleep on Sundays, knowing I'd be putting out fires on Mondays. I was constantly being asked to clean up Saturday's messes—signing off on files from procedures I didn't witness.
The owners saw patients as transactions. I see them as people I can help transform to feel comfortable in their own skin.
Building What I Believe In
I walked away from both jobs. I realized it's up to me to create an environment that truly gives love and acceptance. Knowing that God will provide, and the money will come without me micromanaging or sucking it out of people by focusing on or creating new insecurities during consultations.
I opened my Phoenix location at 727 E Bethany Home Road to bring the Rejuvenate-You philosophy to Uptown Phoenix—an area I know and love, conveniently located for clients in Arcadia, North Central Phoenix, and the Melrose District.
Integrity before income. Always.
The Mental Exfoliation Philosophy
Here's what makes Rejuvenate-You different: Rejuvenation isn't just physical. It's the moment tension releases, confidence returns, and momentum builds. It's a mindset reset as much as a skin treatment.
When I explain exfoliation during your service, I connect it to something deeper. The first step in your evening routine: identify negative thoughts that circle in your mind. Ask if they're serving you. If not, release them—just like you release dead skin during exfoliation.
Then replace those thoughts with gratitude and positivity, like adding nourishing hydration products that your skin needs to thrive. It's the best way to end a day—or start one—with a positive, rejuvenating mindset.
What I Stand For
Integrity Before Income
I walked away from two jobs that paid well because they conflicted with my values. I'll never pressure you into services or make you feel insecure to sell you something.
Renewal
Not just smooth skin—renewed confidence. My goal is for you to leave feeling happy, free, and ready to take on your world.
Precision + Purpose
I love tracking numbers and hitting goals—but only when it's ethical. Detail matters. No stray hairs. No rushed work. Just thorough, efficient service.
Life Outside the Phoenix Studio
When I'm not at my Phoenix location, you'll find me looking for adventures and opportunities to make every experience a learning experience for my two kids. I feel like parenting is just like life coaching.
My husband has been the best partner while raising our two kids—a preteen and teenager. I love hiking (especially during sunrise and sunset at Phoenix's beautiful trails), dancing, and lifting heavy things for fun!
